I have spent a lot of time in tropical areas around the south Pacific Ocean. Sometimes the light is beautiful and elegant, and usually very open and warm in the afternoons when light breezes come up. Many people talk about the “sway” of the palm or coconut trees. That they are so elastic and can bend over a lot in storms allows them to thrive in these climates. I have also seen barefooted people climb all the way up a tall palm without a thought but with extreme dexterity. These bears love it too; to get up in the air and just sway in the warm light to the music of the ocean below.
