    "The Journey"

    Elephants seem to be always on the move either in pairs or as a large group. I wanted to reflect on a departure and so here I placed a mother and a maturing young elephant leaving the grandmother behind as they move towards the eastern sun to pursue new adventures. The rising sun signals a beginning and the butterflies a release of old attachments. Who knows what the day will bring.

    The Journey — is a limited edition art print by Robert Bissell made from his original painting and available in three sizes. Bissell creates all his Certified Art Giclées™ together with Re-Art, a company that specializes in fine art printing at the very highest level.

    Robert Bissell is best known for creating narrative paintings of animals in magical settings. His images reflect the human condition. Bissell exhibits regularly in Europe and the United States.

    All Bissell’s Limited Certified Editions are made with the best inks and materials. four different limited editions are available on fine art canvas and have lifetime quality guarantee. Bissell is involved in the whole process together with his master printer. All editions are controlled, numbered and signed by Robert Bissell.

    The limited edition art print of ‘The Journey‘ is available in four editions. You can choose between the ‘Mini’, ‘Regular’, ‘Large’ or ‘Special Deluxe’ editions.

    All artworks from the Signature Collection by Robert Bissel are “Certified Art Giclees” printed on 400 gram archival canvas with archival pigment inks. “Certified Art Giclees” are very high-quality reproductions of the original, whereby the original paintings are scanned with the Cruse Fine Art Scanner in very high resolution.

    The durability of a Certified Art Giclée™ is at least 100 years and thus meets the archival standard set by the ‘Fine Art Trade Guild’. The Certified Art Giclée is always made with waterproof archival pigment inks and on acid and OBA free materials. These materials are provided with an invisible coating that ensures a chemical reaction between ink and material. The minimum resolution is 1440 dpi, which makes the prints rasterless and has an unprecedented level of detail. The Certified Art Giclée is always provided with a visible number and signature applied by the artist. The signature is therefore not printed. The enclosed certificate is also provided with a number and signature and also co-signed by the master printer. This certificate also states the edition including the EAs.

    Robert Bissell's Certified Art Giclées are delivered on a roll (and therefore not stretched).

    Most orders are shipped via FedEx 2-day Shipping to mainland USA addresses. We offer standard and expedited shipping options for domestic and international orders. Shipping methods and carriers may vary depending on the destination and shipping preferences selected at checkout.
    3. Shipping Rates
    Currently US$65 for most addresses (Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and other countries are calculated at the time of order.). Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of the package, destination, and selected shipping method. Rates will be displayed during the checkout process before payment.
    4. Delivery Time
    Delivery times vary depending on the shipping method selected and the destination. Estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout and may be subject to delays beyond our control, such as customs processing for international orders.
